Colleen Cotton, MD
I am a board-certified dermatologist and a board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric dermatologist. I am an assistant professor of dermatology and pediatrics at George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and I run a multidisciplinary clinic with obesity medicine, psychology, wound care, and dermatology at Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC. I joined the HSF because HS starts in childhood or adolescence in about half of people who are affected by it, and I see so many patients and families suffering with HS. I want to make sure patients with HS are taken care of with compassion and the most up-to-date knowledge, and I want to contribute to research into causes and treatments for HS.
